Dr. Steven Greer & Christopher Crescitelli : Making the Sirius Film

Yekra Player

Yekra is a revolutionary new distribution network for feature films.

Sirius€ is a feature length documentary that follows Dr. Steven Greer -€“ an Emergency Medicine doctor turned UFO/ New Energy researcher – as he struggles to disclose top secret information about classified energy & propulsion techniques. Along the way, Dr. Greer investigates new technology and sheds light on criminal suppression. He accumulates over 100 Government, Military, and Intelligence Community witnesses who testify on record about their first-hand experiences with UFOs and with the cover-up.

In the course of his research Dr. Greer is asked to look at an amazing find: a humanoid specimen, 6 inches long from the Atacama Desert. Not until 2012 was he given permission to take bone samples and DNA from the specimen. At that same time a pre-eminent geneticist, hearing of this find, offered to do DNA testing. He enlisted an MD from the same university,- world renowned for his work with skeletal anomalies, to view the x-rays and CT scans. Their expertise along with Dr. Greer’€™s expansive knowledge of the subject bring more questions than answers. Where did this ‘€œAtacama Humanoid’€ come from? Are there others like it? What does it say about the origin of the human species?

While on this odyssey, the audience gains a whole new perspective on technology, human evolution, and clandestine organizations who have manipulated and controlled the public for centuries.

Private Mars Voyage in 2018

WASHINGTON — A new nonprofit led by the world's first space tourist is mounting an ambitious plan to launch the first manned mission to Mars in 2018, a voyage that could include an adventurous married crew.

 Rare Mars opportunity
The mission is designed to capitalize on a launch opportunity that opens in January 2018.
"There are rare opportunities to actually go out to Mars and come back in a relatively short time, about 1.4 years, or 500 or so days," Tito said.

"If one misses those opportunities, then typical flight times would be two to three years."
Though he admits the plan faces numerous challenges, Tito says it's doable.
"I've seen others come out with fantasy missions that in no way will actually occur," he said. "I didn't want to fall into that."

Before forming the Inspiration Mars Foundation, Tito gathered a group of scientists and engineers to study the potential mission. He hired Paragon Space Development Corporation, which has expertise in life support systems, and space medicine expert Jonathan Clark of Baylor College of Medicine, to look into what would be needed to keep two crewmembers alive and functional in a small capsule for more than 500 days. [Photos: Private Manned Mars Mission in 2018]

The team used the private Dragon space capsule, built by commercial firm Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX), as a model, and found that the mission is feasible. There are caveats, however: For one, SpaceX has not yet launched people on the Dragon, only cargo.

Hoax or April Fools' Day? Alien abduction insurance

Alien abduction insurance is an insurance policy issued against alien abduction.
The insurance policy is redeemed if the insured person is abducted by aliens. Simon Burgess, former Managing Director of British Insurance, well known for being involved in the bizarre end of insurance, said "Of course, the burden of proof lies with the claimant. Let’s face it – insurance is so tedious that if I can enlighten my dreary life with a bit of humour every now and again, I will."[1]
A policy normally costs around $150 per $1.5 million in coverage as of 1998.[2] Policy offerings vary from $10,000 to $10 million.[3] Some companies offer policies for alien pregnancy, alien examinations and death caused by aliens.[4] More recently the Alien Abduction Insurance Corporation has launched the idea of abduction insurance certificates as a unique gift for a lifetime premium and sell it at $9.95.[5]

The very first company to offer UFO abduction insurance was the St. Lawrence Agency in Altamonte Springs, Florida.[6] The company says that it has paid out at least two claims.[3] The company pays the claimant $1 per year until their death or for 1 million years, whichever comes first.[6] Over 20,000 people have purchased the insurance.[2] The insurance is normally purchased by the "feeble-minded", according to Burgess, a former Lloyd's of London underwriter.[2] Prominent policyholders have included Shirley MacLaine and a Harvard University professor who has written on aliens.[3]
The Heaven's Gate religious group had purchased alien abduction insurance before their mass suicide.[4] Their insurance company (London brokerage Goodfellow Rebecca Ingrams Pearson (GRIP) [7]) stopped offering alien abduction insurance after the suicide - having sold the policy to about four thousand people (mostly in England and the United States).[8] At a cost of roughly $155 a year the GRIP policy would pay about $160,000 to someone who could show that they had been abducted by a being who was not from Earth. The payment would double if the insured person was impregnated during the event. Men were also able to purchase the impregnation insurance for protection against the unknown capabilities of alien technology.[9]

Happy Birthday Bradley Nowell! Rest in Paradise

Born on Feb 22nd, 1968, no one had any idea what kind of talent had just been brought into the world’s future. Today, Bradley Nowell would have been 45 years young and we continue to celebrate his life & music.
Nowell’s love for music and artistic genius are easily found in Sublime’s music. Brad sang about real life. Through the ups and downs he often described a Southern California lifestyle that many could relate to and envision no matter where in the world they were listening from.
Half of Nowell’s ashes were spread out during a memorial in Surfside, California and the other half is buried in Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary. Every year on May 25th, Sublime fans gather at Brad’s memorial site to celebrate his life and his legacy. They show up with flowers, memorabilia, bongs, and 40-ounce bottles to help decorate his headstone.
Brad’s widow, Troy Holmes, did an interview with OC Weekly a couple years ago where she explained the reason behind having Brad in both the ocean and under ground, “I did that for the fans. I wanted there to be a spot for people to go to remember Brad.”
In the same interview with OC Weekly, Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh, reminisces on his past times with Brad. He remembers “how much fun he was to be with, on or off-stage. Brad was the type who liked to enjoy life all the time.”
Through his music, Brad will continue to live forever and no one will ever come close to replacing him and what he accomplished in his brief lifetime. One can’t help but imagine all the great music that he would’ve written if he were still here with us and how happy he would’ve been to see how big the reggae community has become.
“Brad bridged the gap between many genres of music and loved every step on his path.“Jack Maness (Long Beach Dub Allstars)

The Pier would like to pay homage to the man who played an unforgettable role in changing our lives with his music & boosting the reggae-rock community in Southern California and all over the world.
Happy 45th Birthday Bradley James Nowell!
